@Infideliter2022 We should understand that GST on petrol is a tax on tax. An excise of 70c / litre and carbon tax of about 13c / litre, plus ACC levies, and GST is applied to all of those. So every time we buy a litre of petrol we pay over 12c tax ... on tax!!!! Say $6 for 50 litre fill.
