Timothy Alan Dick was born in June 1953 in Denver, Colorado. Before achieving stardom, he sold drugs and once faced charges for drug trafficking. On October 2, 1978, at the Kalamazoo Creek International Airport, Allen was arrested after being found in possession of more than 650 grams of cocaine. He pleaded guilty to the charges of drug trafficking and provided the names of other drug dealers in exchange for a reduced prison sentence. After serving two years and four months, Allen was released on parole and went on to become one of the most beloved American actors.
