The 5% are called "super predators" -- a phrase Trump called Biden a racist for using. Trump during a 2020 debate with Biden: “You called them ‘super-predators.’ … I’m letting people out of jail now!”

NTSB Chair Homendy on DC crash: We don't "blame[] flight crews, individual pilots, maintenance personnel, or controllers" because "human error is a symptom of a system that needs to be redesigned." How convenient for the DEI bureaucracy. In rare crashes, humans are the X-factor, the system's the same. Controller felt 'overwhelmed,' ignored alerts. Name withheld. Was DEI a factor?

Since 2000, women and minorities, who make up less than 10% of all pilots, were factors in 66% of crashes caused by pilot error. Despite the disparity, major airlines are continuing to hire on the basis of identity rather than merit. In January 2025, Delta CLO Peter Carter said the airline is “steadfast” in its DEI commitments and called them “critical to our business,” while United’s training academy maintains a goal that 50% of its graduates be women or minorities. Southwest likewise continues to pledge that it will “recruit, hire, and retain a diverse and inclusive workforce.” Follow: @AFpost

President Trump ordered an end to DEI, but airlines are persisting. When John McEntee ran White House personnel in the first term he made sure political appointees executed big changes fast. We need that same urgency now, before the next crash.

Even assuming there was no fraud, none of this makes sense. How is it that we have been funding billions of dollars of daycare for Somali immigrants in Minnesota 81% of which (according to Gemini) are on welfare? In other words, if mom and dad don’t work, why the need for child care? Perhaps you could say the welfare statistics include some subsidies for working parents, but still in this case, the child care does not appear to be needed as the daycare centers are empty. Furthermore, why is Federal funded childcare provided to recent immigrants on welfare versus long-standing American working families who are not on welfare? How does this make sense?

Article 13 lets US withdraw from NATO on 1 year’s notice. President should issue it NOW. Yes, 2024 NDAA §1250A requires Congressional approval, BUT 2020 OLC opinion says President has exclusive constitutional power (see Carter’s 1979 Taiwan defense treaty withdrawal). Start the clock, let the legal battle play out.

My recent trip to Brussels for the @NATO Ministerial meeting left me with one overriding impression: the US has long failed to address the glaring inconsistency between its relations with NATO and the EU. These are almost all the same countries in both organizations. When these countries wear their NATO hats, they insist that Transatlantic cooperation is the cornerstone of our mutual security. But when these countries wear their EU hats, they pursue all sorts of agendas that are often utterly adverse to US interests and security—including censorship, economic suicide/climate fanaticism, open borders, disdain for national sovereignty/promotion of multilateral governance and taxation, support for Communist Cuba, etc etc. This inconsistency cannot continue. Either the great nations of Europe are our partners in protecting the Western civilization that we inherited from them or they are not. But we cannot pretend that we are partners while those nations allow the EU’s unelected, undemocratic, and unrepresentative bureaucracy in Brussels to pursue policies of civilizational suicide.

You're way too excited about this. In the criminal justice system, the people are represented by two separate, yet equally important, groups: the police, who investigate crime; and the district attorneys, who prosecute the offenders. Unless the latter is tough on crime it's just a revolving door.

If big cities just rounded up their 100 most dangerous crazymen and sent them off to Arkham Asylum in the countryside, daily life for their 100,000 or so young women who work downtown would improve 20%. That's all it takes to make a difference in quality of life in big cities.
