My entry point into UBA is in the high 20s because I accumulated more shares recently. With Tony Elumelu’s shameful PR move, I’ll likely exit my position entirely, and I’ll also start reconsidering my overall position in the NGX. Most of the people running the listed companies in Nigeria have zero integrity.

UBA should have realized that the current crop of investors on the NGX are far smarter and more savvy than generations past... Access to information is at our fingertips than ever before. We now make use of tools such as LLM's that didn't exist 5 years ago, and financial literacy is improving at a very high & impressive rate. So give us some credit & don't treat us like E-idiots that don't know their left from their right. You goofed when you failed to report the FY 2025 situation early, like a responsible institution should, to her shareholders so they can make informed decisions on whether or not to move their money or ride the storm with you. You added insult to the injury yesterday by trying to use paid influencers.. "To do what exactly?" What was the plan? To sway folks that put hundreds of thousands or, in some cases, millions of their hard earned NAIRA on a stock they believed will perform??? Una no try at all...

We don't really need to interview Xabi Alonso with these guys. Just visit him and drop an enticing offer on his table and don't come back until he puts his signature on the contract.

I paid exactly ₦83,900 to repair my Android's broken screen. I could have paid only 20k or thereabouts if had used just any engineer. But I didn't want that, 'cause they'd likely use an unauthorized part that'd get damaged again after a single fall. Also, Vivo isn't a phone you see everywhere (one of the reasons I went for the brand), so its parts aren't readily available. For that reason, I headed to the Vivo Service Center in Ikeja. Their service was quick; you only have to wait for your turn; and the atmosphere there was welcoming. They gave me and other customers a bottle of chilled water each, plus biscuits to complement it. They also have a water dispenser that's available for anyone's use. However, there was a problem when I got back home. I noticed that the phone's earpiece (the part where voice comes from when you're on a call) had become dysfunctional after the repair. I put a call through to them, explained the issue, and told them I'd bring back the phone, which I later did. They fixed the earpiece without any extra charges or back and forth. One thing is clear from this experience: The difference between cheap service and quality service isn’t perfection, but how they’ll treat you when something goes wrong. Most people don’t get that. I'd like to hear your thoughts: Would you pay ₦20k and just hope for the best, or spend more for peace of mind?

I think there is something that a lot of people have forgotten or have repressed or were never aware of and that is the fact that people were insulted and abused and denigrated for voting against President Jonathan in 2015!
