I spent two years in the Trump administration. During that time, I saw how the president handled national security decisions. One of my biggest takeaways was this: He fantasized regularly about maiming & killing unarmed civilians. Actually.

"Members of Congress take oaths of office to the Constitution in the same way that the President does. And if the President's not obeying his oath of office, the Constitution gives them the power, the obligation, and the duty to exercise their constitutional duty and obligation to impeach and remove the criminal president."

Something you have probably noticed is that as the US keeps removing regulations that protect the public, at the same time it's adding regulations that make life harder for the public. It's all about benefiting corporations and the rich at the expense of the public. I hate it.

This should set off alarm bells for you. These people aren’t indicted for a crime… yet. But Trump presumably thinks there are and will be crimes to prosecute them for after they leave office—or else, why would a pardon be necessary? Congress should work now to pass resolutions, others should bring test cases, and generally those around our legal system should do whatever they can to limit the scope of this authority—including by raising public awareness of these pardons and demanding that Trump specify the crime and underlying activity for which he’s issuing the pardon. It can’t just be that everyone in his administration is off the hook for any and every crime they have committed while in office. That is against the spirit of our Constitution and, indeed, against the entire concept of rule of law. The time to act on this is NOW.

Just once I’d like to hear a republican answer a question without saying Joe Biden or the democrats. We are more than a year in to YOUR administration - it’s time you owned it.

🚨MAJOR BREAKING: The Ranking Member of the House Judiciary Committee just formally requested a cognitive exam for Donald Trump. In writing. To the White House physician. The letter cites Truth Social posts, statements at the Easter Egg Roll, and this: “Experts have repeatedly warned that the President has been exhibiting signs consistent with dementia and cognitive decline.”

Trump filed an “emergency” appeal last weekend...over his $400 million BALLROOM. We are literally in the middle of a war with Iran, the government is still partially shut down, and many critical government employees STILL aren’t getting paid. But his emergency last weekend was his ballroom? This man is not living in the same reality as the rest of us. washingtonpost.com/politics/2026/…

@RpsAgainstTrump Unreal. “Within 200 feet of the Oval Office” — that’s not policy, that’s a loyalty bubble with legal immunity. Not justice. Not accountability. Just a promise: stay close, stay loyal… stay protected. So what happens to the law when proximity becomes the pardon?

You mean if Americans weren’t so fucking stupid? I’m tired of the “Dems didn’t do enough to convince ppl that burning the house down is a bad idea!” narrative. We had a choice, and the choices were very CLEAR in 2024. America chose the arsonist when he was holding a gas can.
DCinvestor@DCinvestor

sorry, but its absolutely never a wrong time to bring up the fact that if Biden had stepped down a year earlier, had let a Democratic primary happen, and the party had run a real candidate then we very likely would not be in this mess
