This is an outrageous attack on freedom of religion and belief. Banning peaceful religious gatherings is not just wrong - it is dangerous. That is not how a free country behaves. Nothing about this is remotely British. We defend freedom of conscience - we do not shut it down.

Assisted dying is one of the most serious and thoughtful debates that this Parliament has ever undertaken. The decision before Parliament is not about abstract principles. It is about whether this Bill represents sound and safe law. I have come to the conclusion that it does not.

Some MSPs say they still don't know whether to vote for or against assisted dying in Scotland. At this late stage, if in doubt about this profoundly significant legislation, they must surely vote against.

Scotland has highest rate of recorded violence against teachers in Britain. The SNP education record is one of complete failure. They have failed to act on violence in schools and would rather pretend there is no problem. It is time to remove the SNP from Government.
