Tonight is the 27th Night of Ramadan. Ibn Hajr (rahimahuAllah) says: “The strongest view of the majority is that it [Laylat ul Qadr] is the 27th night of Ramadan.” Ubay ibn Ka’ab (may Allah be pleased with him) says in a narration authentically narrated by Muslim: “By Allah, I know about laylat ul Qadr and I know it fully well that it is the twenty-seventh night (during Ramadan) on which the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) commanded us to observe prayer.” Stand in prayer and ask Allah for forgiveness with the following supplication: “Allahumma innaka ‘afuwwun tuhibb al-‘afwa fa'fu ‘anni 🤲🏽” (O Allah, You are forgiving and You love forgiveness, so forgive me).
