If the state of Alabama had its way, Mr. Lee Davis would still be in prison. There are hundreds, maybe thousands like him in ADOC who have been locked up far too long & deserve a new chance at freedom. Creating pathways out of a deadly prison system should not be controversial.

The AL Board of Pardons & Paroles has granted parole to just 7.5% of eligible people, the lowest % in over a decade. A current vacancy on the board leaves these decisions up to two people. Our state leaders need to do their jobs and fill that vacancy.
