@SKGov's own death count estimates, released today, show SK excess deaths since COVID began average 287 per quarter, or ~3450 since start of 2020. This is consistent with estimates by @MoriartyLab that SK appears to have had approximately double officially reported COVID deaths.

@jburnford spoke to the CBC about recording the history of COVID, "A lot of this stuff is is very ephemeral and it's going to be hard for group of historians 20 years from now or 100 years from now to collect this information if we don't get it written down or recorded."
