This scene makes more sense when you realize Kuuga was meant for a prime time slot and not an early morning tv slot next to other kid’s shows. If Kamen Rider ever moves off the early morning time-slot you may see stuff like this coming back.

don’t ever let people shame you for being ‘too old’ for toku. these shows are for children, but that’s not to say it’s exclusive - just make sure to participate with that in mind. there’s no shame in embracing ‘childish’ things if they bring you comfort and fulfilment.
