Today is #InternationalWomensDay. This year's theme is 'rights, justice, action for all women and girls'. We know that women are disproportionately experiencing online harms including digital divides and technology-facilitated abuse. Our research has also found that national digital health strategies fail to account for gender. We continue to raise these concerns and advocate for the rights of all women to be upheld in the digital space. For example, we recently submitted a response to the UN Working Group on Discrimination Against Women and Girls’ regarding their upcoming thematic report on Gender Equality, the Digital Space and the Age of Artificial Intelligence.
