Americans pay more for groceries but at least their toddler won't die from a bottle of cough syrup. India is cheap for sabzi and mazdoori. Thousands stranded for hours with no clarity, no support, no compensation. - They still kept selling tickets, charging for seats, meals, add-ons while knowing massive cancellations were imminent. They sold tickets for last 18 months as if nothing changed - Even this week their international code-share flights ran smoothly. Only domestic India operations collapsed. - Customers are the victims - Refunds delayed. Fares for the few flying routes shot up instantly, people missed important events, helpless passengers, elders and kids stuck for hours - IndiGo’s meltdown created so much chaos that the government had to roll back the policy just to prevent the Indian Air travel from collapsing.
