Today, as part of Economic Fury, Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control designated 35 entities and individuals that oversee Iran’s shadow banking architecture and facilitate the movement of the equivalent of tens of billions of dollars. These networks allow Iran’s armed forces—including the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps—to access the international financial system to receive payment for illicit oil sales, purchase sensitive components for missiles and other weapons systems, and transfer money to Iran’s terrorist proxies.

The University of Oklahoma confirms that Mel Curth, the teaching assistant who gave a student a failing grade on a psychology essay, will no longer be teaching…..Disgusting

Government sources tell Iran International that Mehdi Taj — a former IRGC intelligence commander now heading Iran’s football federation — has been issued a Temporary Resident Permit (TRP) to enter Canada despite being otherwise inadmissible. Taj is expected to attend the FIFA Congress in Vancouver ahead of the 2026 World Cup. @NegarMojtahedi reports.

The Senate just passed $70B more in funding for ICE. Students in fear are counting on our party to fight back. Not a single new dollar for ICE. Tear down the agency.

𝐌𝐄: “Social Security is a state-run Ponzi scheme. The returns to old investors are paid for by the contributions of newer investors.” 𝐁𝐎𝐎𝐌𝐄𝐑: “But I paid into it for 40 some odd years!” 𝐌𝐄: “I get that, but I should not bankroll your retirement. Retirement should be self-funded. In the 1950s, there were 16 workers per retiree. Now the ratio is 2:1. The pool of money available to pay retirees is increasingly smaller because each generation is having fewer kids. So, the government has to print money to pay retirees because there are not enough workers. This causes inflation, which burdens young people the most.” 𝐁𝐎𝐎𝐌𝐄𝐑: “But I paid for my parents’ retirement. So, you should pay mine. I want my money back!! I am entitled to it! You are being unfair to grandma!” 𝐌𝐄: “Two wrongs don’t make a right. And, this system is increasingly unfair to the youth. Your kids and grandkids are the future of this country. You are not. We should be making the American Dream more achievable for them. Every GOOD parent wants his or her kids to be better off than he or she was. We need to find a way out of Social Security. It is an immoral, economically unsustainable system.” 𝐁𝐎𝐎𝐌𝐄𝐑: “I want my money back.” And, this right here is why nothing ever changes for the better. My biggest gripe with old people, both of my grandmothers included (and I have said it to their faces), is that they are stubborn and seldom open to new ideas. And given Congress is a retirement home, this explains a lot about the poor state of affairs in this country.
