absolutely totally agree, there's so many colors in the palette, the green is of course for ariel's tail but i feel they went hard on it for the logo + uniform. the layering is much but feels ok because it's very all over the place like he is

I like the designs but Rielle's has something that bothers idk what... Maybe the overwhelming outfit layering? Or the palette? Idk I want to twist it Minajael design is perfect except for the ashy/pale skin tone, but that's a general problem in this game with POC characters

@lumilightt With the "we need it to be flashy to be marketable because people eat colorful things" mindset and kinda went too far with it. Or a mix of that and "we want to express Rielle somewhat chaotic energy through his outfit" but overdid it

@lumilightt One/Two main colors, one secondary and optionally another extra for small details. That way the colors will be eye catching without overwhelming the eyesight, unless that's what you are going for? But I think it wasn't completely intentional, more like they designed a character

@MostroLoungeVIP The more colors each clothing has the more your eyesight will get tired of looking at it. Like, it's nowhere to be eyestrain because it'd take more saturation/brightness but it could be close to that after a while?

This miscast of Snape in Harry Potter is a good example of race swapping changing an entire story. If Snape is Black, despite books saying he’s White, then Harry is now suspicious that the only Black teacher at Hogwarts is stealing and his Dad bullied a Black kid by hanging him. This seems like a major story change to introduce the idea of racism, and it strays from the source material. 🥴
