If Alberta unhooked from Ottawa, would it be chaos? The opposite. It's Carney who creates chaos and uncertainty. Alberta just lost an $8B oilsands project because of Carney's carbon pricing. His ideological obsession destabilizes the oil patch. Independence solves that.

๐Ÿšจ Simple rule: If an MP wants to switch parties after an election, they should lose their party seat and sit as an Independent. Let voters decide again. Do you agree ?๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆ #cdnpoli #Canada #Democracy

Math time: Net loss Alberta sustains annually being in the federation: $23 billion Deficit: $9 billion. Without the federal drain, Alberta would have a $14 billion surplus even while providing its own federal services. You're welcome in advance.
Morgan Cameron Ross@Morgan_C_Ross

Albertaโ€™s @ABDanielleSmith is hiking taxes across the board because she just lost $9 billion due to lower oil prices. There goes the โ€œwe can be independent!โ€ stuff.

This is the image CBC chose for this headline. Not women celebrating, but women mourning this terrible person. Something is so very wrong within our Country. I don't want to pay for this organization anymore.

Whatโ€™s the deal with Nenshi? He should focus on putting out good and effective mandates and policy pushes that will benefit people of Alberta. Heโ€™s spending too much time saying this kind of dumb stuff.
Marc Nixon@MarcNixon24

Naheed Nenshi says Danielle Smith CAUSED the Separatist Movement NO OTTAWA caused this. A DECADE of pipeline blocks. Equalization theft. Federal contempt for Alberta voters. NDP Nenshi is GASLIGHTING his own people DISGUSTING

BREAKING According to @ABDanielleSmith WE WERE AT 30% LAST WEEK! We are now at 41%. New EKOS poll confirms stayfreealberta.com internal polling. We will be over 50% by the end of the Petition Campaign for #AlbertaIndependence

ITโ€™S HAPPENING! A new Ekos poll shows 41% of Albertans AGREE that their province would be better off as an independent country. These are the highest numbers so far for Independence, and weโ€™re just getting started.

Why was Quebec met with love during its independence vote, but Alberta is met with threats for even discussing independence? Important talk from Cory Morgan that puts the double standard in plain view. Thanks to Max from @fcalendardotnet for recording the video.

UCP 50% NDP 37% Massive swing to the UCP. Wasnโ€™t expecting this. I guess the NDP Forever Canadian gambit isnโ€™t working as well as Nenshi thought it would. Hating Albertans doesnโ€™t work. Another good sign for the upcoming Independence Referendum! #AlbertaIndependence

I donโ€™t think they are comparable. 53% must be inception-to-date net contribution made to CPP, not just in a single year. I bet the 15.5% is for specific year. Historically if Alberta put in more into CPP than taken out, with all of the accumulated growth accounted for, I think you would get closer to 53% than 15.5%.
