🇺🇸🇮🇷 That’s the mood of the hardliners in Iran now … they can’t see themselves agreeing to give up the uranium while US bases are still in the Middle East.
But the U.S. will also never just move the military out of the Gulf; it’s needed as forward bases toward Asia and to project power in the region.
That’s a no-go issue for both, to some extent … but technically the U.S. can accept Iran owning enriched uranium with frequent inspections. So, unless the war is fought out to the end … no deal on this I’d say.
