In observance of the Fourth of July holiday, Robbinsdale City Hall and Deputy Registrars Office will be closed Friday, July 3rd. Offices will reopen Monday, July 6th at 8:00 a.m.

At 1pm today, church bells will ring in Robbinsdale followed by a moment of silence to pay our respect to George Floyd and his family.

9/9 We will continue to provide reports daily and in the case of a need for urgent communication, we will use social media and the e-notification system to advice.

8/9 There were three separate incidents that happened at the same time last night around the parkway which resulted in a lot of sirens and activity. There were no civil unrest related issues.

7/9 We are aware that some devices have been found in Minneapolis. we ask residents to remain vigilant and report anything suspicious in your yards by calling 911. There have been no reports of anything found in Robbinsdale.

6/9 Perimeter was set up with the assistance of Crystal PD and area searched. Plymouth PD provided a K9 which located the suspect hiding in a bush.

5/9 Robbinsdale also assisted Minneapolis in a roll over crash / drunk driver. There was a police pursuit shortly after midnight that started at 42nd and Zenith and ended at 36th and Zenith. The officer had observed two vehicles driving erratically/suspiciously. Driver fled.

4/9 Last night police officers responded to regular calls for service and checking on suspicious activity throughout the night. No civil unrest related issues. Officers assisted Minneapolis who were unable to respond to a burglary in progress in their city.

3/9 Officers will continue to be focused on patrols to keep our community safe. By staying at home you help law enforcement focus on keeping our community safe.

2/9 This curfew is the same time period declared by Governor Walz for Minneapolis and declared by the Mayors of all of the cities adjacent to Robbinsdale. Extra patrols have been scheduled for this week and through the coming weekend.
