@BeggGinny #designsessionslive Nice windows Ginny. Are you asking about shades or WT panels? Not enough information for me to go on here. Like, whats the room for? Do you need privacy? What furniture if any goes in here? Lots of details before I can answer 🤔

#DesignSessionsLive Thank you! Could you also help with what to do on these two windows? I need sunscreens and a blackout option. This area is connected to the living area with the window I just showed. The windows to the ceiling are changing to 2 big panes with a sliding door.

@CelineHrivnak #designsessionslive Hi Celine. Welcome ;-) Ita hard to tell from one photo but my first impression is its all bed! If you want your room to feel bigger, buy a smaller bed. Use mirrors where you can and add as much light as possible.

#DesignSessionsLive Sorry, that I'm writing again, this is my first time on Twitter 🙂 Can you help me with my layout? This is the whole room. You already answered a question about curtains, and I want to make the space bigger 🙂

Do you guys recommend that I try to match my color scheme to my ugly carpets or ignore them? I am putting down rugs but there will still be plenty of carpet showing. #designsessionslive

@LovesDogs14 #designsessionslive Wow, thats a tough one. If you have the budget for it, I think i might tile both walls to the ceiling. If the tile is not a busy pattern, it will look cohesive and elevate your Bathroom considerably :-) RR

#designsessionslive: I got subscribed to your channel 2 months back and I have been watching your videos in you tube since two years. I decided to decorate my house by myself by following your design Principles. I am sending my living room pics what I have done so far.

#designsessionslive: Similarly to achieve symmetry i added similar vertical wall art to the right side of window. Is it a good idea to add wall art this way. I also want to do window treatments for the window.

@srilakshmigott1 #designsessionslive Hi hon, I think I would do a rectangle valance and hide the shade behind it. Drop the valance to the point where the arch is covered completely. You will loose a bit of height but it will update your look nicely.

@LovesDogs14 #designsessionslive Hi hon, I would need to see the other walls to answer that question. Have you watched any of the design course for Sketch Up? I think it would be very helpful for you to sketch the room and try all your ideas :-) RR

@anxianhu #designsessionslive Hi Anny, It depends on the project. The Denver loft took 6 months from the start of construction. Beach house, 1 year & Cliff House 4 years. Del mar was 18 months. Aprox 3-4 support staff is optimal.

#designsessionslive Hi Rebecca! Another stunning project!!! I was wondering, how long does the design process take (f.e. drawing plans, outsourcing products, contacting contractors)? And how many people are on your team to make a stunning project like that happen?

@CStanleyRoot #designsessionslive Hey Carrie, it's coming along. I'd look for a tight linear stcked stone to compliment this stone on your wall. The same material but tighter and thinner if possible. Like this fireplace 😁😁

@BeggGinny #designsessionslive Hi Ginny, thanks for the photos. Very helpful. If you are going to use dark shades, I'd mount up high like the rods. If a light colored shade, Id mount inside the window :-) RR

#DesignSessionsLive I want to add a dark sunscreen roller on this window. I also need to have workable curtains. I'm buying a new rod and will raise it as high as I can. Should I mount the sunscreen high up with the curtains & use as a valance or mount inside the frame? Thanks!

#DesignSessionsLive I'm thinking WT for all windows, bench & art above on empty wall with narrow console table/accys to the left of it? Tall narrow mirrors above night stands+chandelier? Chaise and/or stuffed chair/ottoman in nook with floor lamp or light fixture, table?

@sewlap #DesignSessionsLive Laura, I'm not sure about your specifics but I advise new designers to keep their prices low. Your experience will dictate what you charge. You are learning now... price it that way. People will hire you if you're affordable.

@RuthJac82750568 #DesignSessionsLive You go girl. I'm happy you were encouraged. That was my sole purpose for making this video. Stay strong and remember why you are doing what you are doing. That will be an internal motivator for you. Hugs Ruth 😘

@RobesonDesign Thank you so much for sharing your design journey. I was in tears during the majority of the video. I have been feeling so discouraged lately. Thank you for showing me that my dream is possible and giving me the motivation to keep trying. #designsessionslive

@tee_fagan #DesignSessionsLive Yes of-course Tee. Thats why Sketch Up has been such a helpful tool. My visions for a space often morphs as I better understand the clients needs. With SkUp, I'm able to play around with it until I love it. If I love it, I'm pretty sure the clients will too 🤗
