@GTAJJ_ @charlieINTEL The shop is in my house, in this scenario. The staff going to another mans house with my (2FA) key and a bag of my games (because they were socially engineered) is not the same as me not owning the game I paid for using 3D Secure and manual auth. The issue is ownership.

Yes effectively, in the scenario the shop was in your house, were also losing stock from thieves, had fake receipts among legal EU return laws. If you had your stock of games down and the ability to check who is a legitimate purchase, this is a way to do it. It's not about just the purchase, but confirmation of going past the refund period. If a Transaction ID handshake can be spoofed, I imagine Sony doesn't wish to take the chance. If there were 14 day return laws, then the code would be instant. Being connected to the internet is the equivalent to having the shop next to you. The only dangerous scenario for a consumer is if they happen to be disconnected from the internet for 30 days after that purchase. I'm very well thanks for asking.

@GTAJJ_ @charlieINTEL Jordan, that's like saying I need to go back to a shop with my receipt to explain to the staff that I bought the game, even though I went to their shop and their POS records back up my printed receipt...but they come to my house after 30 days to take the game back. Are you well?

For everyone that is confused. You purchase a game on the PS Store. There is a 14+ day check to run once you purchase a digital game. This makes sure that you still have the game after the refund period and requires a online connect to handshake. Once the check has been made, it is yours forever. No DRM. If you do not go online 30 days after purchasing the game, it will lock under the assumption that it is not genuine and could be a jailbroken. This online check applies to digital games in the store because you would have internet access to get it originally. The scenario where you would have lost internet access after using said access is very low. Hope this helps.

A "one time online check" should be completed when you use the internet to buy and download a game. Maybe I'm out to sea here...but isn't buying the game on the internet and downloading it on the internet an online check? Buy your games boxed and be done with this nonsense

The real issue here is that these septic football teams are in the title race. They succeed in a Premier League that goes looking for goals that are a toe nail offside and spend the game looking for corners and throw ins.
