I just called the Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, His Beatitude Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa, to express my great sorrow over this morning's unfortunate incident in the Old City of Jerusalem, in which Cardinal Pizzaballa and the Custos of the Holy Land, the Most Reverend Fr. Francesco Ielpo, were prevented from entering the Church of the Holy Sepulchre for prayers amid the ongoing security situation. I clarified that the incident stemmed from security concerns due to the continuous threat of missile attacks from the Iranian terror regime against the civilian population in Israel, following previous incidents in which Iranian missiles fell in the area of the Old City of Jerusalem in recent days. I reaffirmed the State of Israel's unwavering commitment to freedom of religion for all faiths and to upholding the status quo at the holy sites of Jerusalem.

The Iranian regime launches terror - and sometimes it falls right back on itself. Spreading violence abroad and hurting their own people.

A UN mandate born from a 2014 Iran-sponsored resolution is now set to be filled by Zeina Jallad, who has voiced support for Hamas, a designated terrorist organization responsible for the October 7 massacre. An outrageous appointment exposing this process is about politics, not human rights. unwatch.org/u-n-set-to-app…

Tony Blair, former UK Prime Minister 👇🏽 “You cannot pretend that Israel does not face a substantial terrorist threat from Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, Hezbollah, the Iranian regime, and other groups that do not recognize Israel’s right to exist.” Antisemitism is rising across Britain and Europe. Words aren’t enough. You can’t oppose it while refusing to condemn October 7 or denying reality. institute.global/insights/news/…

“The Iranian regime poses no threat to the world.” Honestly, every time I hear that sentence - usually from a politician or a very comfortable diplomat - I mentally put a big red X on their ability to understand geopolitics. Not disagreement. Disqualification. Let’s walk through this slowly, for the well-meaning but dangerously naive. In what world is it normal for a state to recruit 700,000 fighters from across Lebanon, Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Afghanistan, and Pakistan… arm them, train them, and deploy them as transnational militias outside the authority of their own countries? In what world is it normal to effectively hijack the political, economic, and military decision-making of a neighboring state like Iraq, while simultaneously fueling civil wars in Syria and Yemen that have left millions dead and tens of millions displaced? In what world is it normal that half of a country’s armed forces - namely the IRGC - is designated as a terrorist organization by dozens of countries… and yet continues to operate, fund, arm, and expand? And here’s my favorite. In what world is it normal for a regime to transfer ballistic missiles (multi-warhead systems with ranges exceeding 2,500 km) to a terrorist non-state actors like the Houthis? Let me simplify that. Sovereign-level strategic weapons… handed to narco terror militias. Militias that traffic in narcotics, humans and chaos. And somehow, we’re told this is… not a threat? Even NATO countries like Germany or Italy don’t field that kind of range in their arsenals. But a militia in Yemen does? Perfectly normal. Nothing to see here. And all of this is happening in a region that holds roughly 60% of global oil and gas reserves, and controls the world’s most critical maritime choke points - Strait of Hormuz, Bab el-Mandeb, and the Suez Canal. So let me ask the obvious question. If this is not a threat… what exactly qualifies? Explain it to me like am a 5 year old!! Do we wait until global energy flows collapse? Until maritime trade is strangled? Until missiles start landing beyond the region? At what point do we graduate from “not a threat” to “perhaps mildly concerning”? Because from where I’m sitting, the regime isn’t preparing to become a threat. It already is one. Oh, I forgot .. All of the above is happening while the same terror sponsoring regime is seeking nuclear weapons and in actual control of 460 kg of highly enriched uranium enough for 11 nuclear bombs!!🤦🏻‍♂️

Iran’s use of cluster munitions against Israeli cities is systematic, not incidental. Institute for Study of War (ISW) cites military assessments that ~70% of Iranian missiles carry cluster warheads, fired toward Israeli major cities almost daily—spreading dozens of bomblets across wide areas. Israel, by contrast, is targeting Iranian military and weapons infrastructure along with Teheran's repressive apparatus like the Baseej. This asymmetry in selection of attacks is rarely -- perhaps few exceptions -- commented upon by the media during the war.

For decades, Iran’s regime has echoed and admired Nazi ideology. Now it’s taking the next step - recruiting child soldiers, just as in Berlin in 1945. A regime that mobilizes children for war isn’t strong - it’s morally collapsing.

The Iranian regime is the driving force behind global terrorism. Through Hezbollah, Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, and the Houthis, it funds, arms, and directs a network of terror that spreads violence across the Middle East and beyond.

An important step by the Ecuadorian government countering the Iranian terror. The Iranian regime is a security threat to the entire world. The international community should call it as is: Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps is a terror organization and Iran is a terror state.
John Reimberg@JohnReimberg

Seguimos trabajando.

Israel, as a sovereign state, legislates its own laws. Unbelievably, the European Union is intervening in the midst of a sovereign state’s legislative process. Israel is facing murderous and brutal terrorism on a scale unmatched anywhere in the world. Palestinian terrorism is fueled by payments from the Palestinian Authority, as well as by abductions that lead to shortened prison terms for terrorists. Israeli law already permits capital punishment, and under the proposed new law, discretion over its application will remain with the courts. EU double standards: as always, the EU obsessively singles out Israel - we haven’t seen a tweet like this when it comes to capital punishment in the United States, Japan, India, Egypt, or other countries.

The approval of the Death Penalty Bill by the Israeli Parliament would be a grave step backward. The EU opposes capital punishment in all cases and under all circumstances. We encourage Israel to abide by its previous principled position. Read more: link.europa.eu/FFYKp3
