100/100 of @StoicTA 100 days of accountability challenge completed. What I've achieved in this timespan & What is waiting for me further in this journey 👇 Little context about the challenge itself -> My main goal was to be accountable every single day(weekends included), write a journal & share my progress on @X, in that way expand my knowledge of trading to become a profitable futures trader. Part 1 -> What I've achieved in this timespan: - Not a single day missed to write a journal/progress. *Can be reviewed easily by checking my timeline. - Rules that were raised at the start of the challenge by taking no more than 3 trades during the trading day. *Passed. Not a single day with harsh rule breach. - 69 trades taken in total in the span of 100 days. All trades journaled with added comments about every single trade together with screenshots. *Can be reviewed: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d… - 3 failed 50k challenges. I think total costs are something like 60-70$ as I've participated only in heavily discounted ones. Main goal was to have a little psychological $ attachment when trading + Journal those trades to collect data. - I grew my discipline together with my psychology exponentially. By having accountability to journal every single day takes an effort and when you also feel accountable by other people it really helps to deliver. It can look simple at first, but please try to do it constantly, you'll find many days when you are not in the mood, traveling, birthday parties and etc.. That's why @X used right, can make a difference for you, not only as a trader, but as a personality itself. - I became a better trader from all sides. I did not became profitable in 3 months+/100 days, but that in the end was not the end goal of which I was trying to achieve. I achieved way more than that. I proved myself that I can be disciplined/professional and have a proper outlook of the market itself. I still lack practice of understading the correct environment of the market, but I'll get to that. In the end, I have only 69 trades at my journal. Can it really be enough to become profitable? For sure not. I am extremely grateful for @StoicTA, that he provided me with this opportunity to learn everything completely free of charge and share so many invaluable insights, not about trading itself, but also life. Path is way more clear as it was before. Part 2 -> What is waiting for me further in this journey: - I'll continue to trade @StoicTA concepts. I'll not look for anything else. I think it's way more than enough for what you need to know about trading and proceed with the market from his teachings. I'll continue to learn some specific fields on which I am still struggling, but I know for sure that in the end I'll be able to achieve mastery status from it. - I won't focus on trading alone, since I have a future to create for me & everyone around me. I also believe that trading when it is approached from already successful personality can be way more rewarding, compared to the struggling one who is constantly chasing to become profitable and not just doing it in the more of the process itself. For process I mean -> Crafting a skill, not chasing $. - When I am saying I'll not focus on trading alone, I mean that I will adjust my timespan for trading to have time on trading a specific session/reviewing/journaling/backtesting on weekends. 2-3h/day. - The other time I'll spend on crafting a skill that it's also like trading -> Eternal. And it's -> Sales/Marketing. I won't be selling anything to you, guys, don't be fooled, i'll just continue to journal, share my strategies and let you know the process itself on what I am doing. As a trader(evolving) I just want to spend my time wise and create wealth alongside this process. - The next challenge that I'll raise in upcoming days will be a bit different. I will select several people who I believe can change my life and help me alongside this journey on reaching financial freedom - one of my main goals in life. The main criteria for my selection -> No courses/Nothing to upsell from their side. Appreciate everyone who were following me with this journey. Progress - Day 7/100 of @StoicTA One of the most eye opening lectures. SBS youtube.com/watch?v=aN33qD…, clearly defined rules with instructions on how to take SBS setup every single day, no matter which trading pair you choose. I've created my risk management system for upcoming prop firm challenge account. I'll treat this challenge as my journal of taking live trades. As that completely differentiate from backtesting only. What I care the most is rule following. My risk management system: Account: 50k size / 3k profit target / 2k loss limit. - 3 trades per day rule. - 200$ winning trade. - 100$ stop loss. - 2:1 RR - Once we reach 50% target, in my case 1500$, I'll increase my size by double. (*If you take losses and go back below 50% target, you once again get back to square 1 rules of lower size) - 400$ winning trade. - 200$ stop loss. - Same 2:1 RR. Seems reasonable for me? If you don't agree with my plan, please leave a comment, I am open for discussions. Also key insights from today: - Goal can change in time, but you never breach your rules. NEVER. - Only profitable trading is discretionary trading, because everything depends on you as a trader and your ability to trade and see price action. - The more complications you have, the more confuse you'll have. - If you have hard time to find 3 trades per day, you simply lower up your time frame. I'll continue to backtest SBS and learn further material from youtube. My prop firm challenge starts on Monday, I'll record every session and showcase my trades to be fully committed on rule following. Every day we continue to grow. 🙏
