@pastaquincy No, he wrote Get Back on the other one ;) But he played the original one a lot during the early days of the Get Back project - it makes totale sense to play Get Back on it ;) (I still can't get over the fact that we just got to see him play this bass again 🤯)

@murphycat11 The only reason people believed it was stolen in 1969 is because it was last seen during the Get Back sessions. That's it. But there was no proof, nor any reports that it was stolen back then. But there is proof of a theft in 1972... what more do you need?

@murphycat11 Yes he was. When it comes to Beatles/McCartney history, I know what I'm talking about. Also, I'll never forget the video where you said you had no idea of what this bass was - all the info you had was the brand, Höfner - but now, you seem to know all about it... I mean, come on!

But your son wrote that the project was trying to take credit for finding and returning, and it's not true. They gave the credit to you, and it's on their website. What else?

@CathyGuest9 I know who Keith is. What I'm saying is that you're minimizing the work TLB has done and claiming they're taking credit while they're not. Even tho their work didn't lead to find the bass, thanks to them we know what happened to it in 72. What's your endgame? I don't get it.

@CathyGuest9 No one from the project ever said they found it or brought it back to Paul. You did, we know it and we're grateful. But why all that hate towards the Lost Bass Project? Their work consisted in searching it, finding out where and when it was stolen etc, and they did.

@CathyGuest9 Well, the search team did trace it back to you and they were about to contact you. But you found out what you had before they could. And if it wasn't for the Lost Bass search being all over the Internet, you wouldn't have known what you had. Please, at least admit it...
