I've noticed that most Christian groups seem to really only attract people of a certain personality type. There's a "certain type of guy" who becomes a Baptist, a Messianic, Megachurch, Orthodox, etc. Where Catholicism shines is that there is something for everyone regardless of personality type, intellectual ability, political background, particular charism, etc. We can take anyone -- literally anyone -- and that person will find a particular tendency within the Church that really speaks to them, so long as they are not averse to accepting what the Church teaches. And even then (for better or worse) they'll probably find something, too. It's the only genuinely "universal" expression of the Christian faith that I have ever seen. Nothing else really comes very close. I can't think of anyone I've ever met who just straight up wouldn't find some thread of Catholicism to bite down on and feel at home within. I cannot say the same of the vast majority of non-Catholic expressions of Christianity.

@CultureExploreX 100%. Latin also lives in our system of law and governance. It also lives within ancient Christian liturgy. Itโ€™s also been proven to be hated by Lucifer and demons. Latin is literal demon repellant.

Catholics didnโ€™t invent the papacy - Jesus built it into His Kingdom. Let's go back in time. Abraham had Isaac. Isaac had Jacob. God changed Jacob's name to Israel, and Israel had 12 sons (12 tribes). Godโ€™s people always had structure. Now fast forward to the new testament. Jesus came preaching the Kingdom (Matthew 4). He was not starting something random. He was restoring Israel. So what did He do? He appointed 12 apostles. That was not coincidence. That was the 12 tribes being reconstituted. But hereโ€™s where it gets deeper: In the Davidic kingdom, the king didnโ€™t rule alone. He had a chief steward - the one โ€œover the houseโ€ (Isaiah 22). This man (chief steward) carried the key of the house of David: โ€œWhat he opens, no one shuts; what he shuts, no one opens.โ€ That is delegated authority. Does it sound familiar? Now read Gospel of Matthew 16: โ€œYou are Peterโ€ฆ. I will give you the KEYS of the kingdom..โ€ฆ whatever you bind and loose..โ€ฆโ€ The same imagery. The same authority. The same Same kingdom structure. Jesus, the Son of David, is restoring His kingdom - and He appoints a chief steward. Peter And this wasn't just about Peter - it is about AN OFFICE. - In Book of Isaiah 22, the steward is replaced (Shebna โ†’ Eliakim). But the role continues. Same thing in Acts of the Apostles 1 - Judas was s replaced. This office continues, so how much more Peter's office? You screamed right? ๐Ÿ˜ฒ Offices donโ€™t die. They continue. So if the apostles have successors, Peterโ€™s office doesnโ€™t vanish. Thatโ€™s the papacy. ๐Ÿ‘ Jesus is King. The Pope is His servant - โ€œservant of the servants of God.โ€

@PaxAeterna Great idea. I was thinking of something similar for Catholic priests. Some are fascinating. " Follow Me, call no man teacher " โค๏ธJesus You know which priest said this on Youtube ? Imagine thinking millions and millions instead of 9 months Man's best vs ๐Ÿ‘๏ธobservational reality

So I may be writing a book this next year that's Catholicism focused for our niche community. Not with any intent to make money, but just because I want to. That said, I want to interview about 15-20 Catholics who remained Catholic despite going through serious difficulties in life. I mean I'm looking for great stories. I want to interview them. I want to compile them. I want to publish them. So with that said X, who do you know who is Catholic who has an amazing story? Prison? Drugs? Trauma? Nothing but positive? Good bad ugly I don't care. I just want to talk to these people. More color the better, doesn't have to be bad or good.

- I'm not a particularly great Catholic (I just try best I can) - I'm not the smartest Bitcoiner by a long shot (but I have conviction, never sold a sat) - I'm trying to be a better man and father (fail often) What I like about X is we're way more real. The other platforms it's beautiful people and perfect lives. X its suffering and joy both. We fall in chicken poop, or get sick or someone passes away. But we also watch new babies and weddings. X is such a heart beat of humanity captured in moments of the now. I appreciate that. Cool to be part of.
