𝗗𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗘𝗥𝗢𝗨𝗦 𝗦𝗨𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗖𝗧 𝗘𝗦𝗖𝗔𝗣𝗘𝗦 𝗙𝗥𝗢𝗠 𝗠𝗘𝗗𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗟 𝗙𝗔𝗖𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗜𝗡 𝗟𝗜𝗠𝗣𝗢𝗣𝗢 Police in Limpopo have launched an intensive manhunt following the escape of a 34-year-old male suspect from lawful custody on Sunday, 26 April 2026. According to preliminary reports, Tumelo Raledi escaped at approximately 21:30 while receiving medical treatment at Maphuta Malatji Hospital in the Mopani District. At the time of his escape, he was under police guard at the facility. Raledi is considered dangerous and had been arrested in connection with serious violent crimes, including rape, attempted murder, and two counts of murder allegedly committed between 2023 and 2025 in the Namakgale policing area. The Provincial Commissioner of Police in Limpopo, Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe, has strongly condemned the incident and assured the public that all available resources are being deployed to ensure the suspect is re-arrested without delay. #LimpopoChronicle

𝗦𝗘𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗗 𝗕𝗔𝗕𝗬 𝗢𝗙 𝗟𝗘𝗧𝗔𝗕𝗔 𝗛𝗢𝗦𝗣𝗜𝗧𝗔𝗟 𝗧𝗥𝗜𝗣𝗟𝗘𝗧𝗦 𝗗𝗜𝗘𝗦 A second baby from the triplets born at Letaba Hospital, outside Tzaneen in Limpopo last week, has sadly passed away. The infant died on Saturday night. The baby girl had been born with a heart condition that resulted in respiratory complications. Her passing comes after the earlier death of her baby brother, who also succumbed to breathing complications while receiving care in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The surviving baby is currently receiving specialised medical care at Mankweng Hospital. #LimpopoChronicle
