@RElegance While I haven’t played it yet (no rpg group), I loved reading this game. It reminds me of the red and blue D&D back in the day. Very simple and easy to learn with a lot of tools to create stories, characters, towns, etc. on the fly.

D&D escapism all the more valuable at the moment. Just started Shadowdark, which is an absolute scream. It's very stripped back old-style play with a slick pared-down feel. Thus far everyone is having a blast. Highly recommended. Quickstart is free.
