@RoseASMRR I'm sorry. I wasn't trying to make it worse. My dad told me before he passed plenty of times "I've had a long full life. I just wanna make sure you & your brother & sister are gonna be ok." Think he was trying to tell me not to be sad when he was gone.

i just be drinking a matcha latte. enjoying the day, the sun & the nice view & then i’m like oh yeah my dad is dead.

@RoseASMRR I'd hold that friends hand, telling them that they could've been on another planet and their dad would've still felt love for them until the very end. That their dad would not have considered your friend as 'not being there' because they were living their life and he wanted that.

what would u do if u were in another country on a trip & u find out ur dad died back at home… asking for a friend.

@RoseASMRR I don't think I'll ever get used to my dad not being in the world. It's the worst 'oh.... oh yeah...'. whenever it hits. But you're enjoying your day, the sun, the views and the matcha. You're doing what I think your dad would absolutely want you to do.

@RoseASMRR I know the feeling. It comes out of nowhere sometimes. Can't stop it. As sad some of my memories of my dad can be & the regrets I have I'll have a memory of something little & dumb thing we did together & laugh & smile. It gets better bud. I'm sure he's with you & proud of you.

@RoseASMRR The unfortunate truth is you gotta push yourself to stay motivated. The whole “fake it till you make it” mantra also comes in handy here because you won’t be motivated unless you act motivated. But you also gotta give yourself the time you need to properly heal Hope this helps!
