Huge well done to our P5, P6, and P7 pupils for achieving their PlayMaker certificates! Working with Active Schools, they’ve developed fantastic leadership skills and are now leading their own fun sessions at break times. We’re so proud to see them inspiring others through play!

Nature Trail is now open!

What a week of wheels! From our youngest learners finding their balance to our older learners mastering road safety in the village, the whole school has been busy with Outfit Moray Bikeability!

Huge well done to our P7s! After winning the ASG round, they took 2nd place at the Rotary Quiz area final in Forres. With both 1st & 2nd place qualifying, we’re off to the next round in Aberdeen! Amazing team spirit, Rothiemay. Keith Rotary Club Lucky Bear Mascot is coming too!

Yesterday a baby goat, today a baby emu. We are loving our class visitors this week!

More signs of spring in class today with a visit from a newly hatched emu! The kids loved having this cute, fluffy addition to the class this morning.

This week we celebrated a Proud Cloud for a new belt in Little Ninjas, alongside 8 River Point rewards given for consistently showing our school values. A huge well done to Tarryblake House for earning the most points this term and enjoying their well-deserved Top Table treat!

P5-7 enjoyed cuddles with the baby goats today. Mrs Clayton even said we can have two for class pets! 🤪🤞🐐🐐

Spring is officially on the way! Robins Class put their mapping skills to the test, following the trail to find "new" life and "old" stones. From spotting spring flowers to tracking hidden footprint of the ancient castle, it’s amazing what adventures are right on our doorstep.

Huge congratulations this weeks pupils who earned their River Point bands. They are true role models who demonstrate our school values every day! We also celebrated our swimming superstar for showing incredible perseverance and moving up to the next level!

We were excited to use our new reading area for World Book Day yesterday, The official chosen name is ' The Reading Neuk'. P5-7 were great reading buddies to the younger students who were fantastic listeners. "It was really relaxing", "The book was really funny"

P5-7 have been busy learning some Playmaker leadership skills. They will start leading lessons for the younger students next week.
