Happy Monday y’all! I hope you had a good day. I know that some of my friends here are going through difficult times. I’m praying for all who need them. It occurs to me that in times like these you find out who your friends are too. I try to be a bright light to all that I come in contact with here. The world is a dark place at times, so we all should do what we can to lift each other up. The new TV was delivered yesterday evening. It seems to be working great, and has a beautiful picture. I’m looking forward to watching some baseball on it this afternoon. I’m a happy camper! 😄

Today's been an interesting day. My dogs were going nuts out in the yard. My wife went out to our carport, and there was a 4-month-old puppy still connected to his leash out there. We posted to Nextdoor, Facebook, and here on Twitter hoping the owner in Mebane sees it. He's cute!

My bedroom TV died earlier today. I’ve been expecting it for a while now. The thing is 14 years old. We just ordered a new one, which will be delivered tomorrow It will be the biggest one in the house. My plan is to put the new one in the living room and take the old one in the living room now to the bedroom. Our current living room TV is 18 years old and still works fine. What I was surprised to find out is how much cheaper TVs are these days than they were several years ago. I bet the picture is going to look a lot better on the new one too. I’m looking forward to getting something new in the house. It probably won’t last as long, because they just don’t make things as good as they used too, but it’s going to be awesome ☺️

@FredR15586266 I’m on budget billing. My bills are about the same every month. They only adjust a couple times a year by just a few dollars depending on how far ahead or behind they estimate me to be for the year. Sometimes it’s in my favor You should look into it with your provider.

How the heck is electric $400 a month when it's off season. AC is not on and the gas furnace is barely running. 🤷‍♂️🤬🤬🤬

One time, I was 'randomly' DM'd by a lady who asked what the gospel was. I laid it out plainly for her. I didn't ask who she was first. It didn't matter. I checked the account out afterwards, only briefly. Not one I follow. A *much* larger account though, with lots of male followers, if you get my drift. She evidently didn't want to ask someone else trapped in that lifestyle what the gospel was. Again, I had no earthly idea who she was. I'm thankful I was naive in that case. I'm also thankful I was ready. Not that I did anything special. I am no better than any other sinner. I am just a sinner saved by grace through faith. We are in fact all sinners, without exception (Romans 3:23). We all deserve death (Romans 6:23), but we can receive forgiveness and a new life in Christ by trusting in Him and His finished work on the cross (John 3:16). *Always* be ready to share the good news. You never know when you'll need to do that.

When you don’t know what to do, do what you know to do. Praying is a good first step. This world seems to be pulling us in many different directions, demanding our attention from every angle. When you need to get refocused, the best thing anyone can do is talk to god. He will help you get through any storm you may be facing. I hope this encourages someone today.
