Here's the truthnuke on Dead By Daylight, not that anyone cares It's the least scary horror game ever because it's unambiguously, extremely survivor-sided, and I say that as someone with 80% of my playtime on survivor. The marketing tells us what the gameplay fantasies are supposed to be, but the gameplay doesn't match it at all. The survivor fantasy is one of fear and desperation. You SHOULD die, but you're striving and hoping you can get out. The survivor reality is that there's no reason to be afraid of killers, and "good" survivor gameplay involves running around in circles the right number of times with the occasional mindgame. The killer fantasy is one of an unstoppable monster murdering the victims. The killer reality is that killers are impotent. Oftentimes, killers get farmed for extra points, or just because it's fun to see them be helpless. "Good" killer gameplay involves being a fucking professional. What DBD SHOULD be is an environment where surviving is an outlying outcome, not the norm and not to be expected. Killing should actually be easy. The game SHOULD be enormously killer-sided. What DBD IS is an environment where the appeal of playing survivor is ganging up on one poor sap for your ego or your e-date. That's why it's an objectively bad game despite the unbelievable potential it has.

The Three Factions of Christianity Ever since I started coming clean with my lifestyle of what I wanted to do in my pinned post for the sake of escaping the world's chaos, it has exposed the divide within the Christian religion. Some have shown holier-than-thou personalities, while others have sympathized with me about my flawed outlook, acknowledging the struggles of sin and imperfection. Below are the factions of Christianity and where they stand. 1. The Hidden Hypocrites This faction is composed of puritans—people who act holy on the outside, but on the inside, they hold darkness inside their hearts and souls. They use bible verses for every occasion and resort to loud condemnation of anyone not measuring up in their faith, weaponizing the Christian religion as justification for their actions. Their sanctimonious performances while casting stones tend to hide the secret lifestyles they keep behind closed doors, concealing the darkness they harbor. If you deviate from their views for one moment, you will be viciously attacked for being "impure." This faction is the one that will judge you harshly for your impurities, but fail to apply John 8:7 to their lifestyles because it's inconvenient. Nothing drives people away from Christianity more than puritans who give the religion a bad name. “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of the bones of the dead and everything unclean. In the same way, on the outside you appear to people as righteous but on the inside you are full of hypocrisy and wickedness.” -Matthew 23:27-28 2. The Flawed Faithful This is the category I fall into. In this faction, you have a very dark exterior—LGBT, porn addictions and NSFW content, temptations, dressing and acting like an edgelord, daily struggles, and a deviant lifestyle—but your heart and soul are filled with light and in the right place. You acknowledge your flaws as part of you and can never be perfect, knowing that all have sinned and fallen short. You come clean with everything with nothing to hide, and refuse to let anyone or anything dictate your faith in Christ. You may be a fatally flawed sinner, where trying to act pure or fighting back against your lifestyle is impossible, no matter how hard you try, but you accept it with dignity while keeping your faith in Christ within your heart and soul strong. You know the cathartic techniques of keeping darkness out of your heart and soul and letting the light shine through the cracks. It's never about the outside; the heart is what matters. “For God, who said, ‘Let light shine out of darkness,’ made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ. But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us.” -2 Corinthians 4:6-7 (NIV) 3. The Genuine Saints The rarest of the rare. They radiate light both inward and out, not a single speck of darkness to be seen. They won't ever judge others to feel secure in their faith because they're consistent about their holiness, which flows from their heart. They may struggle, but they're the richest in spirit than I am and deserve the deepest respect. They're Christianity's MVPs. CLOSING After a lot of self-evaluation, storm after storm, realizing the same mistakes I've been making, and watching other mutuals get attacked by mob mentality—Christian or non-Christian, I needed to realign myself on where I stand while unveiling the factions—not denominations—within the Christian Religion. Take a moment to reflect on where your faith stands. Are you trying to hide behind a facade of being so pure, or do you accept every flaw as your own, let go of the shame you have, and let the light shine through the cracks, no matter how damaged you are?
