OH BROTHERRRRR!! This is my main issue with people pleasers, y’all blame us for your passiveness while also not taking accountability for your lack of communication and building secret resentment. You’re responsible for asserting your own needs just like everyone else.

I also had to learn to trust myself, and become truly disinterested with people who I felt were questioning my intelligence. I don't care to prove myself to anyone, but I also don't have a chip on my shoulder about people doubting me. Resentment is a liability. I don't want it.

You mostly end up surrounded by ain’t shit people cos of your ego. Anytime someone shows you they don’t rate you, walk away instead of fighting to prove yourself - romantic pursuits, jobs, friendships etc.
They don’t care & it will cost you mentally, financially & emotionally.
