“Kids deserve better movies”
Said by adults who absolutely, 100% do not have and or never had movies they like that aren’t good but don’t rise anywhere above being dumb fun.
If adults can have those, then kids can have them too.

kids deserve better movies 100% but in my theater all the kids loved the galaxy movie it was sweet to see they all laughed and cheered whenever shit happened a bunch of kids had mario n luigi masks on like i dunno it's nice they liked the movie u shouldnt take that from them

After playing the Japanese version, I can never go back to the International versions of the cutscenes. Whyy did they remove the expressive animations from their eyessss they looked so beautiful 😭

@KingEphemera The only thing that makes it an rpg is the fact that it's 40 hours which combined with strictly dmc combat is not a good thing for various reasons

this game might have the most pointless rpg system I've ever seen same attack, endgame NG+ gear vs early game NG gear every individual gear upgrade is like a fraction of a percent increase in damage dealt or decrease in damage taken

Imo, I think Sonic should be more of a character that’s cool and just so happens to come off as funny rather than a character that’s meant to be funny. Sonic can crack a few jokes here and there but he’s not really meant to be a character that intentionally makes you laugh.

Off topic, I forgot where I saw this comment. But I find it funny the idea of Oikonny got kicked out of Star Wolf cause his uncle (Andross) died and was no longer paying them.

Star Fox Assault was so real for starting the game with the Andross boss and then having it get immediately killed by the new enemy. They were like, "No no, we're not doing that again."

@realestAG_ They're essentially sonic games reinterpreted as of fast and the furious movies as the themes for all the films revolve around family while the games rarely do that and are about more interesting stuff like the balance of nature and technology and living for yourself in the now

This game is NOT just "Star Fox 64 again", if anything it's a big homage to it, it takes its ideas and does them bigger and grander with completely new dialogue, story beats and levels, I feel like people are only parroting what Nintendo reviewers say without actually playing it

Just because a character is flat and doesn't break doesn't mean they're a boring character because his coore character is an aspirational figure unlike anyone else.Besides there are characters with development and arcs that are even more boring than those that are static and flat

I also truly love the idea that giving Sonic actual challenges will "break" his character. Like you wholly believe he is actually a flat, boring character and we should keep it this way... why

@AdriWindGB Kid Icarus had no problems because the screens were not only much closer to each other, but also focused primarily on being supplemental to the first screen rather than trying to make both screens essential to the play experience

@AdriWindGB Than a heavy ass tablet which was significantly lower res and forced players into first person because of that. That and the screen switching is what led to that massive divide

@CraftyAdrian360 Don't worry lots of Nintendo games put samuses ship in there as an Easter egg no way in hell are illumination gonna take the opportunity of doing a Metroid movie, that shit is too much of a risk for them
