@SANEAlex_ I have a couple of pesky trees which if I did try something I’d like to build around them, try to incorporate them. Our garden is tiered so the top which is like 50% we never use, it’s the dogs toilet & play park for the squirrels 🐿️ #scifihour

I was watching a YT video which was a Mars survival game, create colony domes, rail routes & terraforming, looked quite fun - I might have to give it a go #scifihour

@SANEAlex_ Some off grid guy built one with a triple glazed diy roof, it looked really good. As with most things in life, when funds allow I might have to try something like that in my wasteland back garden #scifihour

@BatFonz @tmro #SciFiHour Light second delay would cause problems with fine control but would be good enough for supervision of the upcoming AI bots @Tesla_Optimus should be in production later this year I would not be surprised if a few were building stuff on the #Moon before this decade ends

@BatFonz @tmro #SciFiHour Yeah I really want to see a permanent #MoonBase in my lifetime ideally more than 1 we should really build a #SpaceLift for the #Moon ideally link both poles & the equator our materials tech should now be up to the job these days though proposed maglev system also good

@BatFonz @tmro #SciFiHour Yeah it was interesting I do hope that he has a chance to do a test rig on a cube sat if it is possible to extract significant macro scale amounts of energy from the solar wind it could make the solar system more accessible & if the sailing analogy trick can get 8%c👍

Just checked status of Neuromancer & Blade runner 2099. No release date for Neuromancer yet & 2099 only says in 2026. Least I should have some good cyberpunk TV later in the year #scifihour

@BatFonz @tmro #SciFiHour It has a lot of interesting titbits of commercial #space history but if it is possible to extract energy from the solar-wind for propulsion at the rates suggested we are in for fun times over the next few decades though I may have extrapolated a lot from a few hints

Book wise, I just finished today Service Model by Adrian Tchaikovsky. Really enjoyed the initial 3rd of the book, the rest was still decent & amusing at times, solid fall of humanity sci-fi wrong the perspective of a robot with no purpose #scifihour
