A 30 to 40 min training session with a few reps of maximal effort and a few sets of sub-maximal effort isn’t going to affect your club sports game performance 9 hours later. Your poor nutrition, and sleeping habits will. Put some weight on the bar and get stronger. 🦅💪🏻

"stats show that only about 10 percent of elite 10-year-old athletes are still elite at 18. Only eight percent of Nobel Prize winners and world champions were child prodigies. In fact, the only thing that early success guarantees is … early success" (John O'Sullivan) Early sports specialization gives the illusion of high level athleticism. The reality is that most youth sports lack any real physicality. It's no surprise we see the Olympic/D1 dream fall apart around age 13 when strength, power and speed become prerequisites for success in higher level sports. Give the young athletes a fighting chance for the future by preparing them for that physicality now. #LTAD
