Sadly not every youth player will make it professionally & for some this Final will be the highlight of their football careers. 67,492 got to attend an all timer 2022 Final. The 2026 playing group will now be denied that experience. In FA Youth Cup Final history, only City have continually not held it at their stadium. The PGB, an FA Board committee, can direct venue changes & should intervene here. Common sense should prevail.

"The news that the FA Youth Cup Final, a great fixture which has heralded so many superstars of the future, is to be played in a stadium of just 6,000 people is a disgrace. Last time United were in the final we had 67,000 fans in Old Trafford so allowing this massive game to be played in front of such a paltry few fans is letting down supporters and denying these young footballers the biggest night of their careers so far. The FA needs to step in and ensure the game can be played at either the Etihad or Old Trafford. Time to put fans first for once."

Unbelievably disappointing that the FA Youth Cup final will now be played at the Joie Stadium (7k capacity) because City couldn’t agree a date to play it at the Etihad. The obvious right thing to do is move it to Old Trafford which could see a crowd of over 65k attend.

What about all of these examples then Arne? It’s common knowledge that Liverpool have been getting away with it for years with beneficial refereeing decisions. Just 2 weeks ago you won the Merseyside derby because of it 👍
