@KamVTV At some point in your life, say 70??, you shouldn’t have to pay R/E taxes anymore. Because at some inflection point those taxes could exceed income depending on the rise in your property value.

I don’t know a single person who dreams about “lower” property taxes in Texas. Not one! People want them ELIMINATED. No one works their whole life to pay off a home just to keep paying rent to the government forever. If you miss those payments, the state can take the property you supposedly “own.” BS. That’s not ownership. That’s a long-term lease. The real conversation shouldn’t be about lowering property taxes, it should be about eliminating them. Because if you can lose your home over taxes after it’s paid off, the government doesn’t just tax your property… THEY OWN THEM!

Kuwait and UAE in some form or the other. 5. Gold prices surging past $5600-6000 per ounce as investors flock to safe-haven assets amid escalating uncertainty. 6. European stock exchanges like FTSE and DAX plunging 10-15% on open, triggering circuit breakers across the continent. 7. Global supply chains grinding to a halt, with shipping routes through the Strait of Hormuz disrupted, leading to immediate shortages in commodities. 8. Cryptocurrency markets in freefall, with Bitcoin dropping below $50,000 as risk aversion sweeps digital assets. 9. Emerging economies like India and Turkey facing currency devaluations of 20% or more against the USD within days. 10. Central banks worldwide slashing interest rates in emergency sessions, but failing to stem the panic selling and liquidity crunch. And I can write 10 more reasons but I think these are enough to give you a heart attack. It does to me.

@cherokeeowl Contact county inspector and tell them a structure is on your property which was built without you getting a permit and start fines every day it’s up. Tell neighbor you are getting fined every day and in 3 months you will go to court to force him to pay the fines and remove it.
