We were delighted to welcome Ardnashee College to help us begin our Seachtain na Gaeilge celebrations! The pupils had a brilliant time making shamrock wands, taking part in Irish dancing, playing cluichí through Irish, and finishing off with a lively game of Bingo as Gaeilge. ☘

KS4 Irish pupils enjoyed a fantastic day at Ulster University, taking part in a vibrant careers fair centered on opportunities in the Irish language sector. ☘

Year 12, 13 & 14 pupils participated in an insightful STEM Careers event as part of Science Week! Pupils heard from professionals across a diverse range of fields: Biomedical Engineering, Midwifery, Nursing, Consultant Paediatrician, Paramedics, Fire Service & Sports Science.

A huge congratulations to our talented players Lauren, Aoife and Lucy who have been selected for the U14 Derry & District Select Team! Their hard work has paid off, and they’ll be representing our school at the FAI Gaynor Cup in Limerick this June. ⚽

Our Year 9 pupils experienced The Cosmos: A 3D Journey Through Space as part of Science Week! Thank you to David Fearon @nispaceorg for bringing our pupils an immersive 3D experience about exploring the birth of stars & galaxies alongside current and future space missions.💫
