A big welcome to our incoming 6th graders here today from Grissom and Westview! We are excited to get to know our new Panthers today during Panther Discovery Days! Thank you, too, to Mr. Sager and the MCHS pep band for coming to play for us this morning!

Our middle schoolers had a very educational experience today, playing various courtroom roles duirng a mock trial w/real courtroom pros by their side. A Q&A session followed. Thanks to Judge Judi Calhoun and all the pros who participate. A valuable lesson! #placinglearnersfirst

Boys basketball tryouts continue today! 8th grade is from 4-6 in the main gym 7th grade is from 6-8 in the main gym 6th grade is from 6-8 in the aux gym 8th grade girls basketball tryouts will be Wednesday and Thursday from 4-6!

Earlier this week, the school board recognized Deb Huston for all her great work running the Panther Pantry. She's a blessing to many Southside families. Thanks for all you do, Deb! #PlacingLearnersFirst

Congratulations to Mr. Kring for being chosen as August’s teacher of the month here at Southside! We appreciate all of Mr. Kring’s hard work and intentionality with his students!

Great keynote to kick-off @BallState + @MuncieSchools Academic Innovation Summit with Cousin Danny!

Our students and staff had the opportunity yesterday to learn from Cousin Danny about the importance of movement, fun, and dance in ensuring happiness and positivity throughout each day!
