Our new breakfast club is a huge hit! The children are enjoying eating breakfast together and then having fun before school. If you are interested in a place please speak to the school office. @spstyear2 @spstyear1 @receptionSPST

At lunchtime today some children helped Mrs Griffin fill our new planters. First we ripped up some cardboard and added it to the bottom of the planter. Then we filled it with soil and added the plants.

We had a great turn out for our first ‘Walk to School Wednesday!’ Well done to everyone who took part 😊👏

Today some of our reception children visited Tesco with Mrs Limbert and Mrs Opolli to collect some pumpkins. A huge thank you to Donna, the Community Champion for donating pumpkins for our very own pumpkin patch.

Thank you to our families for supporting our 'coin and a tin' initiative to raise money for CAFOD and food for our local food bank. We raised £249.35! Well done everyone!

This week 1L have done lots of learning outdoors. Ask us what we did?

This afternoon our Year 2 Numeracy Ninjas visited reception to take photos of the maths work they were doing. Then they helped some year 1 children with maths activities too. #mathspartyday

Last week we had volunteers from RSA visit school to help with the continuing development of our outdoor areas. They worked hard clearing the overgrown trees near our log cabin before painting it. @nbrly

Some of our year 1 and year 2 children visited Everton Nature Garden again today. We made bug houses, went on a bug hunt and then put all the bugs into their new homes. Thanks Adam and Izzy, we loved it! @fftliverpool

2F have had a fantastic time at Jofest! We’re going to miss you lots Mrs Starkey, but hope you enjoyed your celebration!

2F have had a great week this week. We enjoyed learning to play the glockenspiel and learnt about all about the Beatles from our visiting historian.

Some of our year 1 and year 2 visited Everton Nature Park. We went on a treasure hunt, made our own pizza and planted some seeds. We even found a newt. @fftliverpool

Gardening Club got off to a rainy start today, we sowed pumpkins, rocket and peppers.

2F have had a fantastic afternoon completing observational drawings and planting sunflower seeds!
