@HalifaxBank why is it sooo damn difficult to actually speak to someone about our mortgage? Tried god knows how many phone numbers and been passed from pillar to post. Been to the local branch but no joy other than a video appointment with mortgage adviser who couldnโt help us!
As Glastonbury collaborations go, Paul Heaton reunited with Norman Cook is right up there.
Half the Housemartins, complete with the dance routine from the video? Itโs Happy Hour again on BBC Four!

It's always fantastic to hear we've successfully created a safe space for our guests
This wonderful review came just in time for Pride month from an LGBTQ+ group from the May Bank Holiday ๐ณ๏ธโ๐

@DanWuori My husband is Grandad Steam because he owns a steam traction engine, and I am Glam-ma coz I was waaaay too young and glamorous to be a grandma at 52!
What are your familyโs grandparent names?
Some are self-chosen.
Some are bestowed.
And some of the best and most original are those earned over time, often based on childrenโs early mispronunciations.
So today letโs have some fun.
Are you (or does your baby have) a Grammy? A Memaw? A PopPop? A Big Daddy?
Lay it on me! Bonus points for the most original.

@mrsbaileywrites I sadly had to give eulogies for both my Dad & Mum just 40 days apart last year. My husband stood beside holding my hand, & I found that once I got started (through the sobs) the adrenaline took over and I managed to deliver both eulogies proudly.
In four days, Iโm going to give a eulogy for my dad. Itโs written but Iโm not sure how Iโll get through this. Every time I practise it, I sob. Does anyone have any advice or wisdom? He was a brilliant man and I want to do this justice at his memorial โค๏ธ
