Our Thursday 'Therapy Through Nature Group' has been very busy over the past four weeks. 🌱 Our patients have taken part in a programme designed to help them connect with nature. Together, they’ve been nurturing seedlings such as pea shoots, cress, and lettuce - even enjoying a friendly competition to see whose pea shoots can grow the tallest! Did you know? Sustainable September goes beyond our shops. Growing your own produce has many benefits compared to relying on supermarket goods transported from thousands of miles away. For example, pea shoots can be harvested and will continue to regrow, providing a fresh and sustainable supply. #OrganicMonth #SustainableSeptember

21 January saw the inaugural STH4PC session of 2025 @ghhospicecare. Pinecone bird feeders were the chosen theme which tied in nicely with the RSPB #biggardenbirdwatch encouraging patients to take part and continue connecting with nature at home #wellbeing #Hertfordshire
