Our Btec Performance night in full swing, supporting the Bay Food Bank!

Tomorrow is our first live performance for almost 2 years! The students are really looking forward to being back on stage. We'll done to the year 11 Btec Music students who have organised this and will be running the show! 🎵😀

We have availability for new starters on Flute, Trumpet, Clarinet, Saxophone, Violin and Cello. Please contact the Music department if your child is interested in learning and instrument. Musicstaff@stmacademy.org.uk

All rehearsals are going really well for our school show, High School Musical. 25th and 26th March at Whitley Bay Playhouse. Tickets available soon!

Well done to our BTEC music students who raised £220 for Children in Need on Friday night!

We have just counted up the money raised on Friday through our #ChildrenInNeed2019 Gig, and we are delighted to announce that we raised £220! Well done to all of those students involved in making it a huge success!!

🎶If any student is interested in learning an instrument at school, information letters are available from the Music department office. We would really like to encourage new starters in clarinet, saxophone and brass. We also offer voice, guitar, flute, keyboard, uke and drums!🎶
