Today we honor those who have earned the nations highest award for valor the Medal of Honor. Of the 3528 Medal of Honor recipients 1501 were from the #CivilWar with 2LT Thomas Ward Custer of the 6th Michigan Cavalry being the only duel recipient from the war. #medalofhonor #suvcw
