Pay attention to this - Turkish propaganda at work Turkish ministry of defence released this footage and statement from Dargala/Dargele region claiming that the HPG uses the village and residents as „Human shields“ they then claim that the HPG set the village and its surrounding forests on fire to escape an attack by the Turkish armed forces. CPT and Zoom news (both local media agencies) have confirmed that the residents were actually given the order to evacuate the village, threatening potential bombardment by the Turkish armed forces. The village has now been evacuated. Local reports claim that the surroundings of the village were set on fire by Turkish soldiers. Along with the village Dargala/Dargale the village Kani Baze has been - on the orders of the Turkish army - evacuated as well. On the night of the 26th Kani Baze in the Baze valley was subjected to several attack runs by attack helicopters of the Turkish armed forces. The Abu Zendan crossing between the territories held by the Assad regime and the territories occupied by the Turkish state and their military coalition SNA has been stormed by local people and militants of some SNA factions. Turkish forces in the region have been put on high alert and some SNA factions have been mobilised. Some elements within the SNA have refused the recent approach by the Turkish government to normalise relations with the Assad regime.

Turkey will squeeze every penny they’ve spend over the last years in the KRG out of the KRG with important/export tariffs and trading deals that strongly favour the Turkish economy. Enjoy getting 10$ per barrel, selling commercial lands to Turkish ‘investors' and paying to important water from Kurdish mountains within the KRG under the control of the Turks. You’ll have no choice.

Yesterday night around 70 Turkish soldiers patrolled the village of Keste/Kesta in the Autonomous Region of Kurdistan (Iraq) The village has been largely (I think totally) vacated by the kurdish inhabitants since 2021 after massive bombardments by the Turkish army on that village. On Keste mountain the Turkish military is constructing a large military base As the village is full of camera traps and surveillance equipment - the Turks probably patrolled the village and its surroundings after movements inside the village were spotted - probably spying on the base nearby. Footage of Turkish soldiers patrolling in Kurdish villages whose inhabitants have been displaced because of their ethnicity is also some good propaganda material for the Turkish media Second video is from 2021 - it is footage of a Turkish helicopter massively firing on Keste village; essentially destroying a quarter of the village.
