The draft ruling from the Supreme Court overturning Roe V. Wade is devastating for women, personal liberty, and threatens the progress we’ve fought so hard to achieve. I’m proud to have helped make Illinois a 100% Pro-Choice state and now we all need to fight to protect it.

Today is Transgender Day of Visibility, where we celebrate the resilience of transgender individuals in the face of discrimination and advocate for their full inclusion and rights!

MORe people are returning to Springfield to visit & see our democracy in action!It was an honor to host members of the @ILREALTOR & @MainstreetOrg in the Capitol and attend their annual awards dinner at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum.Congrats to all the award recipients!

This week many of our local mayors came to visit us in Springfield! Hearing from local officials about how we can work together is critical to the success of our communities and I appreciate their commitment to the people of Lake County. Thank you for coming to the Capitol!

I always love visiting with constituents in Springfield. Today, I had the pleasure of meeting with members of @MAMFRC_ Mano a Mano Family Resource Center to discuss issues facing the immigrant community in Lake County! I really appreciate them coming to the Capitol!
