thanks to @NorthernAgenda_ for sharing the successful outcome of our advocacy of community-led housing (CLH) over the last 5 years. As a result, CLH in West Yorkshire is now being supported by @MayorOfWY

Since 2020 Same Skies have used a range of creative methods to facilitate this process including film making, writing, group walks and a film screening of our documentary about Frontline community self-build.

It began in 2020 with a series of online public meetings to discuss “How do we create decent homes and liveable places for all in West Yorkshire?” This was followed by a chapter in the Same Skies alternative manifesto for the 2021 mayoral elections.
