The man repeatedly threw his dog into rough waves, which witnesses called animal abuse—he claimed it was to "test its resistance." The dog swam back out safely each time and survived. The man was identified online as Dr. Yocer Yanfran Pinto. The video went viral yesterday, sparking outrage and calls for charges under Peru's animal protection law, but no official arrest or update yet as it's brand new.
