Dear @chicagobulls, I am a lifelong fanatical Bulls fan. Been to many games, bought your merch, and supported loyally through ups and downs. Until today. My greatest loyalty is, as is Jaden's, to Jesus Christ and truth. And I am grateful to live in a nation that protects freedom of religion and freedom of speech. Your violation of the first amendment--and, even more problematically, your ideologically selective while culturally amenable cancelling of a man who did nothing more than hold to his convictions--is a tragic capitulation to the spirit of the age. I urge you to do the right thing and publicly apologize to Jaden, acknowledging the error of censoring a man for believing what Scripture says and what Jesus taught. Jaden Ivey was thrown off the @chicagobulls today over his Christian views on LGBTQ pride events. He’s reacting live on IG right now and refusing to back down from his religious convictions. @NBA wouldn’t dare to do this to any other faith. Christians must stand with @JadensIV!

"I'm going to find the place of moral truth, and I'm going to stand there. I'm going to proclaim it boldly, regardless of whether or not the right or the left agree. ... The fact that the place of moral truth may agree with one political party or another is neither here nor there." 2. "We have a duty to preach the Kingdom, the will, the whole counsel of God, and to compromise on it for the sake of reaching people with the gospel will never work."

I lived in Canada for almost 20 years & hold Canadian citizenship. At the Ezra Institute we predicted these changes if the church did not act for over 15 years & were largely ignored. With Bill C-4 and C-9 the legal apparatus is now present for official persecution of Christians.

Public discourse about homelessness rests on a category mistake as well as on empirical fictions. The error goes beyond the advocates’ successful rebranding of drug addiction, mental illness, and social disaffiliation as “homelessness.” We speak of “the homeless” as if it were an ontological category, one population set apart from everyone else. The term is not merely shorthand for individuals making persistently bad decisions. We do not hold “the homeless” to the same expectations as anyone else. They are treated as a different species. Of course they live on the streets; that is their essence. Meantime, the roughly $80,000 [New York City] spends annually on each street vagrant serves largely to preserve that status quo. The only policy that would restore public spaces to their rightful users is to prohibit their colonization by vagrants. Until about 60 years ago, it was simply understood that police would move transients along. Photographs of the New York subway system in the 1940s and 1950s show orderly spaces; commuters did not fear being pushed onto the tracks. Is poverty greater now than it was then? Hardly. Today’s poor receive levels of government support unimaginable in earlier eras. Notice how extreme poverty drops precipitously when: 1) China introduced market reforms 2) USSR dissolved & 3) India turned against socialism. Socialism destroys wealth creation. It not only breeds poverty, but it is a grossly unequal poverty where only political elites benefit.

Have you noticed, @NancyRPearcey, that the people who continually bring up the evils of slavery in U.S. history, tying it to systemic racism in America today, never have anything to say about *actual* slavery today, including the most evil of all forms of slavery, sex slavery and sex trafficking?

The coercion, shaming, and manipulation of governments, organizations, schools, and even churches to force people to take untested and unproven so-called "vaccines" was a great evil. These are the consequences.

James 1:22, "be doers of the word, and not hearers only."

One of the biggest problems in society today is that we no longer share a common set of basic facts. Without that, you cannot have a healthy discourse, or really any discourse at all. Too many people either do not know basic facts or have been led to believe things that simply are not true. In real life, almost no one knows that the Russia collusion plot was cooked up by the Clinton campaign, or that there is a transcript proving Flynn did not lie, or that the Ukraine impeachment scam began the morning after Mueller’s train wreck testimony because they needed a new hoax, or that Fauci demonstrably sent money and technology to the Wuhan lab for them to create deadly coronaviruses. The list goes on and on. And yet, in polite society, you are still treated like a crank for knowing these things rather than repeating the approved version of events. That is a very big problem. So until there is at least some agreement on basic, provable facts, there is no real point in debating anything. If the inputs are garbage, the outputs will be too.

Reminder: The Bible is the reason anyone thinks slavery is immoral. The entire world engaged this practice without a second thought. It was the Bible and Christians that made the world finally realize this practice was wrong. You're welcome.
