Things you never have to apologise for • crying • setting boundaries • struggling with your mental health • having a bad day • being honest about how you feel • not knowing how you feel • asking for help

You don't always need to have your feelings figured out right away. It can take time to process things. Keep trying to pay attention to you how you feel. Try writing it down or talking it through with someone. Most of all, be patient with yourself.

Signs that you may be struggling with your mental health: 1/ You’re sleeping too much or too little 2/ You’re not speaking to your friends as much 3/ You’re not enjoying things you usually do 4/ You feel upset or angry regularly 5/ You’re eating less or more food

If you could say one thing to a parent who is struggling to cope with their teenager who has a mental health problem, what would you say? Someone may really need to hear your advice.
