The lady probably likes to follow rules and if she swiped her card for someone who is technically a non-member it violates the terms of service and she would lose her own membership. It is not always about being racist which is a horrible assumption to make. I remember when we were kids, we had a raccoon climb down the chimney and into the house, I was only around 10 years old home alone with my brother who is a few years older than me. We had no idea what to do. This was before cellphones and we couldn’t get ahold of our parents. We grabbed whatever we could just to defend ourselves in case we had to. We didn’t know if it had rabies or anything like that. I remember my brother kept swatting at it until we were able to push it through the door. It was nuts because it wasn’t scared of us, it stood its ground the whole time. What would you have done? They don’t teach us how to handle things like this in school. We have to learn how to figure things out ourselves.
