There are a couple of members that I text with every day. They need that consistent personal touch. It blesses me also and I think that’s why surprising me the most about being an Elder. @ShepherdLinkApp

Not every member needs the same care. Some need daily check-ins. Some need monthly connection. Some just need to know you're there. Good shepherding is personalized. Great shepherding is sustainable. Make sure everyone gets something. How do you tier your care?

Development isn't linear. Two steps forward, one back. Member care is the same. Someone thriving hits a rough patch. Someone struggling starts leading. You shepherd through the cycles. How do you stay consistent when progress isn't linear?

A conflict escalated because we waited too long. Small misunderstanding → gossip → sides formed → meeting required. All because nobody addressed it at step 1. New rule. Any concern gets acknowledged in 48 hours, even if resolution takes longer. How do you handle conflicts before they grow?

We assumed someone followed up. Nobody did. Three people saw the request. All three thought someone else handled it. Now: one owner per request. Name assigned. Deadline set. No assumptions. Clear ownership saves ministry.

Not everything should be automated. Prayer? Personal. Visits? Personal. Crisis? Personal. But scheduling, reminders, tracking? Automate that. Free up time for what needs you. What do you automate vs handle personally?
